Big Bay Lighthouse is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It overlooks Lake Superior. The nearby town of Big Bay is remembered by many as the site from the novel and movie Anatomy of a Murder. The movie starred James Stewart. The novel was by Robert Traver, one of my favorites because he wrote wonderful stories about trout fishing.

I'll skip the boring historical stuff. At 90 years old it is a pain to recite all that. I did obtain a degree from the University of Illinois, served in two branches of the U.S. military and had a fairly thorough training in drawing and art. I also had some considerable business experience. My paintings are not meant to convey some deep message that I feel the world should share.
